Description

Document investigations of alleged violations of the Student Conduct Code (“the Code”) and applicable University policies by individual students. Includes academic misconduct.

These records found in all media (paper, digital, or other) may include but are not limited to:

  • incident reports;
  • evidence;
  • notifications of allegation;
  • notifications of decision or outcome;
  • related documentation.

 

 

Retention and Disposal Instructions

7 years from calendar year case closed, if no subsequent, substantively similar behavior and no litigation or agency complaint, purge.

Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
