Document a loss to university property; or breach of a legal duty (tort claims); or loss to a university, motor pool, state, rental, or third-party vehicle that result in a claim. Does not include student-athlete injuries, or workplace or occupational injuries.
These records found in all media (paper, digital, or other) may include but are not limited to:
(a)10 years after disposition of claim, purge;
(b) 6 years after current year for incidents that do not result in a claim, purge.
Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
