Document receipt, shipment, and/or disposal of chemical materials, "dangerous goods" as defined or classified by Dangerous Goods Regulation and/or hazardous waste on campus.
These records found in all media (paper, digital, or other) may include but are not limited to:
(a) 3 years for manifests, purge;
(b)3 years after the material is accepted by the initial carrier for hazardous waste, purge;
(c) 2 years after the material is accepted by the initial carrier for all other hazardous material, purge.
Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
