Document maintenance of the listing of all accounts used by University of Oregon, including every fiscal FOAPAL (Index, Fund, Organization, Account, Program, Activity and Location Codes) element used by the university and requested changes and terminations.
(a) retain chart of accounts, authorization and supporting documents of approved changes, additions, and terminations to indexes, funds, or organization, program, and activity code(s) indefinitely;
(b) 6 years after fiscal year for all other records, purge.
Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
