Document criteria and processes for registration and recognition of student groups and organizations by the university. These records found in all media (paper, digital, or other) may include but are not limited to:
Students and alumni in possession of documentation related to student organizations, especially foundational documents (by-laws and charters), publications and minutes produced by these groups, are encouraged to contact University Archives directly.
(a) 3 years after activity, transfer registration and recognition documentation to University Archives;
(b) 3 years after activity, all other records, purge.
Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
