(a) 190 days for recordings that have no evidentiary value, including but not limited to accidental, demonstrative, training, or test recordings, purge;
(b) 366 days for recordings related to animal problem, field interview stops, informational report, mental health/person on hold, traffic crash, traffic stop, warrant arrest, purge;
(c) 2 years for recordings related to uniform traffic citation, purge;
(d) 900 days for recordings related to agency assist, purge;
(e) 5 years for recordings related to misdemeanor, traffic crime, use of force, or violations, purge;
(f) 10 years for recordings related to felony, purge;
(g) 30 years for recordings related to sex crimes, purge
(h) until administrative use ceases for recordings related to death investigation, homicide, officer involved shooting or internal affairs, or taser firing, purge.
Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
