Description

Document informational reports written by a law enforcement officer related to individuals, events, or vehicles for which the officer does not have probable cause for enforcement. Information usually includes name and address of person contacted, physical description of person or vehicle, officer's name, location of contact, date and time, witnesses, reason for contact, and related data.

Retention and Disposal Instructions

2 years, purge. 

Exception: In the event of a subpoena, audit, legal hold, public records or similar state or federal information request, halt until further instructed any scheduled disposal activities, including purging or transferring material to University Archives.
